I am trying to get the hive to work using my primary blog as the base blog. I have copies the plugin files to the plugin directory as well as copying the db.php file to my wp-content directory. I then print up a page of my primary blog site. When I refresh the screen or go to another page in my primary site, the wordpress 5 minute install comes up for this site. I do not want to go through with it because I'm concerned it will screw something up in my WP tables. I can bring the site back up by deleting the db.php file, but of course I don't want to do that. I have tried to start from scratch by dropping the two hive tables that were created in my DB and starting again, but the same thing keeps on repeating.

    * The hive does work because any other domains that get pointed to the hive location work just fine. Any ideas?

WP Hive is supposed to carry over the prefix for your primary domain on initial install, but it seems like in your case it is trying to create a new one.

To fix this, when you get the 5 minute install page, update the table 'wphive_hosts' and set the 'prefix' for your primary domain to the same value that is defined for the prefix in the main wp-config.php file.

Great. It turns out the the prefix was too long and I couldn't change it in the DB. Rather than try to change the length of the field, I just manually changed the prefix of the table names. It was a bit more involved because some other tables referenced the prefix too, but I got it all working. Thanks!

Question. Your add-in seems almost perfect for what I want. However, ideally when I install a new blog I would like all of the plugins I have in the plugin directory to be active. Is there a way to do this? If not a direct way, do you know one plugin that I can install which would activate all of the others?

If I update any of the plugins in the plugin directory, do I need to go through all of my blogs which are using it and do anything, or will they be automatically updated?

    Thanks again!
