After deinstall my original blog doesn't work anymore

    My webhost allows me to host multiple domains within one account. In my admin I can connect any of my domains to a certain directory (which result in some Rewrite rules in my .htaccess)

    I just installed the hive plugin on my blog (www.domain.nl/blog) and pointed a second domain (www.domain.de) to the wordpress directory on my original blog. I executed a second wordpress install on http://www.domain.de with succes.

    My first blog was still available. Bad thing, no link was working anymore. My blog was suddenly also available under http://www.domain.nl/ AND under http://www.domain.nl/blog/

    Then I decided to deactivate the plugin and rename the db.php. Nothing happended and my original blog is only showing the main page, no links work anymore.

    Anybody any idea?

    I can still access my WP admin

    I can't realy beleive it how, but after changing the WordPress address (URL) and Blog address (url) in the WP admin from
    domain.nl/blog
    to
    domain.nl/blog/
    everything worked again.

    How could this happen?

    This has me stumped.. Perhaps there is a conflict with the .htaccess? I would check to see that there are no extra entries that could be causing it..

    You've definitley removed db.php from the wp-content folder, right?
