    I will have a very complicated site and want to test it before putting it on my main domain. Does anyone see any problem in putting the hive on a test domain on my server and then moving it when everything is working properly? The other hive blogs will be on the correct domains on the same server.

    I believe it would be OK

    When you are ready to move it to the real domain you will need to update: (off the top of my head, possibly missing some items)

    - Siteurl through WP Admin / or options table in DB
    - wphive_hosts table (change hostname, keep same prefix)
    - wp-content/wp-hive/domain.com folder name
    - References to the sitemap.xml path in the above folder
