Install site doesn't seem to do anything

    I'm running Wordpress 2.9. I installed wp-hive according to your directions.

    When I click edit and/ or add site and complete the required fields, example below:

    domain - mysite.com
    sub directory - /P365
    Prefix - wp_365

    I click on save changes and either get a message that the site has been saved or a message that there was an error saving.
    If I get the message that my site has been saved and I click on the "install site" button, it simply redirects me to the site I'm hoping to add.

    When I go back to the wp-hive in my dashboard, click settings, click edit - it still says "install site" next to the site that I'm trying to add.

    Is this what the program is supposed to do? Is there a place where I can go to add posts to the new site? Can someone help me to figure out what I'm doing wrong. Thanks!

    Linda, do you already have a site installed at /P365 (ie: in a subdirectory install)? If so, it will be that site will load instead. Merging them might be the answer.

    John,
    Yes, I finally installed another instance of wordpress at /P365 because I did not get a response here. I still am unable to make the plug in work to install any other sites to my blog.

    Do you have a site at that location already? Perhaps you have something set up in the the webserver to redirect requests to another location?

    I am no able to "install a new site", however, my theme and settings within the theme do not transfer. It was my understanding that that was one of the benefits of this plugin?

    to answer your previous question, prior to this morning, when I would click on "install site" after clicking on that would take me to mysite.com/whatever all my grpahics would be there and a "not found message"

    Hey Linda

    The plugin is intended so you can have two totally separate wordpress installs when you install a site it creates a new database tables so your starting fresh with new setting each time cause your creating a new database with site. But you can still use the same themes just they go back to the default settings. But thanks for again for using & testing our plugin for multiple WP sites
