Welcome to the WP Hive forum!

You might need to make sure permissions are set so that wp-content is writable. I'm not sure this is the best way to do that, but if you have terminal access to your server you can use "chmod 777 wp-content".
cheers
Thank you, that worked and I was able to activate the plugin. I installed a new site, but have an additional question/problem. This is my setup:
main site - asdf.com
new site - qwert.com which is a valid DNS, pointing to the same apache virtual host location as asdf.com
Previous to installing hive, browsing to either asdf.com or qwert.com would show the correct wordpress site located at asdf.com.
After installing hive, adding qwert.com and installing it via the plugin, browsing to qwert.com showed an empty blog with the same theme etc. as asdf.com. I believe that this is the expected behavior.
My question concerns the admin logon. I want to change the theme on the new site, qwert.com. What is the default admin login for the new site? I tried the existing admin login for the current site, and as expected it did not work with the message, you do not have enough privileges.
Ok, I think that I know what my problem is, but not why it is occurring. Even after I "install" the second site, the second set of tables are not created within the database. I used the database prefix "wp2_" when setting up the second site in Hive, but those tables are not created in the DB after I select the "install site" link. Any idea why these tables would not be created?
Thanks, Len
I allocated the tables manually and everything is working. I'm not sure why the plugin didn't create the tables.
if i have 300 different domains in the hive, must i go to each admin panel to ACTIVATE an INSTALLED plugin?
