Some options missing from Wordpress Reading Settings page

    I have installed and I have created 2 hives but I noticed that on one hive the WP Settings > Reading> page "Front page displays options" have disappeard. I no longer have he options to set the front page.
    Only the "Blog pages show at most" and "Syndication feeds show the most recent" options are still visible

    on the other blog all the options are available, anyone else seen this before and can offer any suggestion to fix it. I guess I could export those tables remove that hive, re-install the hive and import the old posts but that is such a pain.

    That is extremely odd. Can't think of any way that Hive would cause this issue.

    Could be a corrupt file or database. Try refresing or upgrading the WordPress files.

    ohh, I can't believe I'm so dumb, the option disappeared because I deleted the "about" page. 5 years of using wordpress and I have never done that before, ah well. you live and learn.
