    Hi

I just discovered that someone created a blog using an existing subdomain that belongs to me, under my domain name.

I don't know how did that happen. Can the 2-minute create a new blog interface accidentally show up to someone trying just to visit my subdomain? because the subdomain now doesn't recognize my password nor my email address!

I had to delete the database..

And how can we prevent this from happening again please?

Are you sure a new blog was indeed created in the hive? Sometimes I see new hosts are created in the hive, mainly because I didn't edit the allow_new_hosts in wphive_config table to 0. So, if I mistype my domain, chances are I go into a WP install screen. Maybe that's what's happening to you, no?
You dont't need to erase the whole database, just figure what's the "rebel" blog prefix and delete it from the wphive_hosts table along with all the tables with that prefix. That should do it. Also, you better put allow_new_hosts in wphive_config table to 0.

This is one good reason to ensure you are using WP Hive v0.5.x. The 'auto-add' site feature does not exist anymore.
